Annual FOOD DRIVE

For the last 4 years, QCK has hosted a Food Drive at the end of October. This food drive contributes to supporting people who experience food insecurity in the Kingston community. Last year, QCK executive members and student volunteers collected and donated 2 full size bins of non-perishable food to the Partners in Mission Food Bank. We look forward to continuing this QCK event this year and making it an annual tradition within the Kingston community!

Campus Challenge: Sick Kids Polar Plunge

In the 2022-2023 school year, QCK raised over $15,000 for Sick Kids, and ended our year of fundraising through the Sick Kids Campus Challenge. Our executive team completed a polar plunge in March to step outside of our comfort zones and raise awareness for the cause.

Pizza sales

Pizza Sales are a long-standing tradition for QCK. Twice per semester QCK executive members spend 3 days in Goodes Hall selling donation-based bites to eat. All donations during pizza sales go directly towards Sick Kids.

QCK x Braintrust review sessions

In order to help commerce students prepare for midterms and final exams, QCK collaborates with Braintrust Tutoring to run TA-led review sessions for a variety of first and second-year courses. All ticket proceeds go towards Sick Kids!

Annual blood DRIVE

Each year, one of QCK's most valued events is the annual blood drive for the Canadian Blood Services Kingston branch. This event aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation within the Smith School of Business and other faculties at Queens. In the past, the QCK blood drive was the largest successful "clinic takeover" that the Kingston branch the Canadian Blood Services has ever had.
