OUR EVENTS

Annual FOOD DRIVE
For the last 3 years, QCK has hosted a Food Drive at the end of October. This food drive contributes to supporting people who experience food insecurity in the Kingston community. Last year, QCK executive members and student volunteers collected and donated 2 full size bins of non-perishable food to the Partners in Mission Food Bank. We look forward to continuing this QCK event this year and making it an annual tradition within the Kingston community!

BLOOD DRIVE
Each year, one of QCK’s most valued events is the annual blood drive for the Canadian Blood Services Kingston branch. This event aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation within the Smith School of Business and other faculties at Queen’s. In the past, the QCK blood drive was the largest successful "clinic-takeover" that the Kingston branch of Canadian Blood Services has ever had. Specifically, our most recent blood drive in 2020 had 50 registrants.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be holding our fourth annual Blood Drive for the Kingston Canadian Blood Services branch on January 29th, 2020.

FIRST - YEAR EXAM
REVIEW SESSION
For the first time ever, QCK hosted four virtual first year exam review sessions in December 2020 that had a fantastic turnout, raising over $3,000 for SickKids while simultaneously giving back to the Commerce community. During this event, Upper Year students volunteered their time to develop content and run large-scale sessions for first-year students. This fundraiser was put on in partnership with the Queen’s Commerce Society and BrainTrust Tutoring.
